The Idaho Summer Festival has four main purposes:
Businesses and Vendors have an opportunity to reserve a booth space and display and sell products or explain their services to the general public at a large venue over a four day period of time.
Engaged Couples can compete to win a car, prizes and a free wedding. The Idaho Wedding Guide gives away a free wedding each year and in 2009 the “Wedneck Wedding Sweepstakes” was created to have engaged couples compete in ten events to win prizes. The winning couple will have the largest outdoor wedding held in Eastern Idaho on July 11th at Sandy Downs and win a car and VIP PASSES to “Rock the Falls” on July 18, 2009 along with 30 concert tickets. Engaged couples who participate but don’t win the wedding can obtain hotel rooms, jewelry, gift cards and other prizes.
Fundraising for the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho will occur in collaboration with the Idaho Health Guide. Two specific events will be held for businesses, individuals or families wishing to participate in fundraising: a MUD VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT and a SPUD MUD RUN. A portion of proceeds from these events will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation.
Family Entertainment is our specialty!! Food, fun and festivities will occur each day including: eating contests, games, a dunk tank, live music, performances and many other activities. Yes, there is something for everyone at the Idaho Summer Festival.
